General terms and conditions of Isla apartments Bonaire

Please notice the following terms and conditions that apply for bookings at Isla apartments. With your booking, you agree with our conditions.
- Reservations
- We will confirm your reservation through email after reservation.
- Please check the confirmation on accuracy and let us know if there are any errors.
- The details on the confirmation are binding.
- Rates
- All prices are in U.S. dollars.
- The rate given on the confirmation and invoice is binding.
- Our rates include all services that are mentioned on our website as included.
- Payments
- Payments may be made to our account in Europe (euros) or to our local bank account on Bonaire (dollars). If you pay in euros, please calculate the amount due from dollars to euros at the time of payment (www.wisselkoers.nl).
- We can also collect payment via credit card. Through our booking form you can share your credit card details in a secure way.
- After receiving a down payment of 25% of the total amount due, your booking is final.
- The remaining amount is due 4 weeks prior to arrival.
- If you book your stay 4 weeks or less before arrival, the whole booking amount is due at the time of booking.
- Any booking that is not fully paid for 4 weeks prior to the planned arrival date, may be cancelled by Isla apartments.
- Cancellation
- In the event of cancellation more than 4 weeks before arrival, we will refund the down payment.
- Full payment is due in the event of a cancellation within 4 weeks of the planned arrival date, a no-show, or an early departure. We advise to take travel/cancellation insurance.
- If Isla apartments needs to cancel the booking due to an event of force majeure, the customer will be given a full refund. The accommodation shall, however, have no further liability to the guests arising out of such cancellation.
- Arrival and departure
- Check-in time is 3 PM, checkout time 11 AM. You may check-in earlier or checkout later, free of charge (depending availability).
- In case of an early check-in or late checkout without availability of your apartment, you may use our facilities like the storage and changing room, the shower/toilet, swimming pool and pool deck with sunbeds, free of charge.
- Occupancy
- Maximum occupancy for the apartments is 4 persons.
- The minimum age of our guests is 12 years.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Additional
- It is prohibited to play loud music or to have a party at Isla apartments. Silence must be respected between 9 PM and 9 AM.
- Guests enter the swimming pool at their own risk.
- Isla apartments doesn’t accept any responsibility for
- theft, loss or damage incurred of any nature whatsoever during or as a result of staying at Isla apartments
- failure or suspension of any of our technical equipment
- Guests are liable for any losses and/or damage suffered by Isla apartments as a direct or indirect result of their stay.
- Isla apartments is not liable for compensating or crediting any guest for any loss incurred due to medical issues, family emergencies, delays or cancellations.
- In the event of incorrect usage of a room, or when leaving such behind in an improper fashion, the costs of additional expenses, including cleaning costs, will be payable by the renter.
- Maintenance activities may be performed at Isla apartments during your stay, without constituting the right to a refund.
- The law of the ‘Openbare Lichamen Bonaire – Saba – St. Eustatius’ is applicable.
